Team will field two trucks in '09 Truck Series season

STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Randy Moss Motorsports announced Wednesday that it will partner with Toyota for the 2009 Camping World Truck Series season.

"We are extremely excited to be joining the Toyota team this season," co-owner Randy Moss said. "Toyota has proven year in and year out that they are competitive on the track and can provide the resources to run for a championship. We are pleased to be a part of their camp." "All the pieces came together quickly for us to make the switch to Toyota this year," co-owner David Dollar added. "Toyota has a winning reputation in the Truck Series. We feel that with our experience paired up with Toyota we have a legitimate shot at running for the championship and that is our main goal for 2009."

Also, Toyota is the three-time defending manufacturer champion, earning the award in 2006-2008. "We look forward to working with the Randy Moss Motorsports organization in 2009. TRD USA will provide technical support to assist the team's efforts to get to Victory Lane", Les Unger, Toyota national motorsports manager said.

Dollar, a veteran owner in the Truck Series has 13 victories in his 11 seasons of competition. In July '08, the former Morgan-Dollar Motorsports announced the addition of NFL superstar Randy Moss as co-owner and renamed the team Randy Moss Motorsports.

Randy Moss Motorsports will compete full time in the 2009 Truck Series season and will announce its driver lineup in the upcoming days.
